Creating your Backyard Retreat
The construction phase is dramatic and can be a little unnerving, but don’t worry, we have years of experience in building pools. What is a construction site on the first day, will become a proud addition to your home in a very short period of time.
After the pool area has been marked out, heavy excavation equipment is brought in to dig the hole and sculpture the shape. The heavy-duty galvanized steel walls are set up and reinforced by a heavy-duty “A” frame support system held in place by a poured concrete base. At this stage, the circulation plumbing is completed and the walls are back-filled to provide firm support.
In the mean time, the pool bottom is smoothed and, in most cases, a hard finish of sand and concrete is applied to create a sold abrasion-free surface for the vinyl liner. It’s now time for the finishing touches. The rugged, attractive vinyl liner, that has been computer designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances, is laid into place. Now it’s beginning to look like a pool.
